Its been nine months since our wedding day.

Turns out we are closer to our first anniversary now than we are to the actual day itself, and that is something I’m struggling to wrap my head around!! It has been a whirlwind of 9 months. I mean we went on our fabulous honeymoon in St. Lucia, settled into married life, went to Mexico (twice for me), went to South Africa, celebrated the love of our friends through weddings and engagements, and celebrated the holidays with friends and family.

With the new year came the realization/acceptance that it is no longer ‘wedding year’ and with that came a time of reflection. Jourdan gifted me a stunning coffee table book of photos from our wedding day and that made it even more special and tangible.

Everyone says it, but really our day was nothing short of a fairy tale. From the flowers to the dress and everything in between, it was everything I could have ever hoped for and more. We were so extraordinarily blessed to have the people we love surrounding us that day too. The love we have for our friends that stood with us that day is unmatched and there are not enough words to describe the feeling of standing at the altar and looking out to see the faces of our parents, friends, and family who traveled from near and far to love us and support us.

We laughed, we cried (soo many happy tears), and we sure had a party!! So in honor of the Best Day Ever, grab some tissues and a glass of champagne and come reminisce with me! Here are a few of my favorite photos.
